Shoolini University does undergo energy reviews as part of its emissions monitoring and reporting process. According to its emissions report, the university tracks its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and electricity consumption under the GHG emissions protocol, covering both direct emissions (Scope-1) and indirect emissions (Scope-2). Additionally, Shoolini University has an ISO 50001:2018 certification for its Energy Management System, which includes systematic reviews aimed at improving energy efficiency and identifying areas of potential energy wastage. This certification ensures compliance with international standards and involves regular audits to maintain effective energy management practices.

To identify energy wastages and energy management the Shoolini University is being conducting energy audit by certified energy auditors. Areas of high electricity consumption are identified, and energy efficiency measures have been taken e.g. use of auto-cut off systems, in Galleries of Nobel Laureates Dr CV Raman, Prof Har Govind Khurana to cut off lights when there are no visitors. Auto cut of exhaust fans and lights in Wash Rooms ; LED lights, heat pumps for Hot water and solar water heaters to lower electricity consumption
