You must apply for the DAMD before starting your studies at Shoolini University. This includes admission to the DAMD by Shoolini, who will then send your undergraduate academic results and a positive reference from a Shoolini professor to Royal Holloway.

Royal Holloway, University of London guarantees a minimum of 10 full-time places annually across all DAMD programs. These places are competitive and awarded based on academic excellence and a formal recommendation from Shoolini University.

The application process for the Dual-Award Master's Degree (DAMD) follows a structured timeline each year. If you are an international student, you must apply by 31 July 2026 for September 2026 entry. Before starting Semester 1 at Shoolini University, students need to send their relevant documents to Shoolini. Shoolini then will submit those to Royal Holloway academic team for an initial review.

  • In January or February, during Semester 2 at Shoolini University, you will submit a complete formal application to Royal Holloway, supported by Shoolini University's recommendation. By March, eligible Shoolini students receive a conditional offer letter from Royal Holloway.
  • In July, students must submit the remaining required documents to receive their Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) letter.
  • From late August to mid-September, students arrive in the UK and complete enrolment. Mid-September marks the beginning of classes at Royal Holloway, which continue until the end of August the following year.
  • In September, you will re-enroll at Shoolini University to allow for the final processing of your dual award.
  • Finally, in October, Royal Holloway's examination boards officially confirm your MSc degree.
