Partnership with NGOs
Shoolini University is actively collaborating with the NGOs to support their awareness raising campaigns and to jointly cope with the challenges of sustainable development goals. Some of the NGOs are: Earth just Ecosystems Foundation, Foundation for A Drug-Free World (India), Healing Himalayas Foundation, Inner wheel club (Chandigarh), and Rotary club (Solan). The university works closely on cancer awareness, drug abuse, cleanliness, educating the underprivileged students in the area, and health awareness.

Collaboration with NGOs to tackle the SDGs
Shoolini University is deeply committed to advancing SDGs by actively collaborating with NGOs. These partnerships enable the university to address critical social, economic, and environmental challenges, while fostering a culture of community engagement and social responsibility among students and faculty.
The university has undertaken several initiatives in collaboration with NGOs that directly contribute to various SDGs. For instance, partnering with YouWeCan has allowed the university to focus on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by raising awareness about cancer through multiple initiatives such as the YouWeCan Cricket Tournament, and cancer awareness campaigns. Additionally, Shoolini’s collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club has resulted in impactful blood donation drives and HIV/AIDS awareness workshops, further advancing SDG 3.
In the area of environmental sustainability, the university has worked closely with Healing Himalayas, contributing to SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). Through initiatives like tree plantation and cleaning drives, Shoolini has played a significant role in promoting environmental conservation and raising awareness about climate change.
Shoolini University’s engagement with the Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy (IAMD) reflects its dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities, which aligns with SDG 3. Regular visits to muscular dystrophy centers and “Picnic with Purpose” activities have helped spread awareness about muscular dystrophy and provided support to affected individuals and their families.
By collaborating with these and other NGOs, Shoolini University continues to make measurable progress toward achieving the SDGs, fostering a healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable future for society.
