Students of bio-engineering and food technology apply engineering principles to biological systems. Programs in bio-engineering and food technology equip students with design, analysis and biomedical technologies.

What is the study of food technology?

Food Technology integrates and applies knowledge of Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, Biology and Nutrition. Students learn to preserve, process, package and distribute foods that are healthy, affordable, desirable and safe to eat. A growing brand of food science, it involves aspects of processing, preservation, preparation, selection, distribution, etc.

RE-imagined BTech Food Tech Program

We have taken the lead to develop a unique research-oriented BTech degree program, the Summit Research Program, that prepares undergraduate students for global opportunities at leading academic institutions and corporate R&D teams. Fully integrated with the regular engineering curriculum, it provides hands-on exposure to high-quality research, experience with writing technical papers, personal mentorship and interactions with internationally acclaimed research practitioners and experts.

Global exposure

The school has International collaborations for student exchange and research. We have collaborations with leading international campuses such as Cranfield University (UK), Ankara University (Turkey), Çankırı Karatekin University (Turkey), Gachon University (South Korea) and University of Naples (Italy)
