Scholarship
Every student admitted to the University of Edinburgh under the 2+2 or 2+3 scheme automatically receives a £3,500 per year scholarship. This is disbursed directly to the student, typically in November each year. Transition course fees and accommodation costs for the bridging course are deducted from this amount in the first year, so students don't need to pay separately for it.
Eligibility
To transfer to the University of Edinburgh, students must:
- Complete two years at Shoolini University
- Maintain a minimum of 80% cumulative GPA
- Score well in prerequisite subjects
- Meet English language requirements:
- IELTS 6.5 overall (no component below 5.5); 7.0 overall recommended (minimum 6.0 in each)
- Equivalent English tests accepted if taken within 2 years of transferring
- Class XII English score of 75%+ (CBSE or CISCE), not older than 3.5 years at the time of transfer
Transfers also depend on a short interview, and the University of Edinburgh's equal consideration deadline, which typically falls in mid to late January of the year a student intends to transfer.
