The BCA (Hons) Bioinformatics is a four-year undergraduate program at Shoolini University that combines computer science with biological sciences to prepare students for careers in the field of bioinformatics. The program provides students with the knowledge and practical skills to use computing, data science, and AI to solve real-world challenges in healthcare, biotechnology, genomics, and life sciences.

Students build a strong foundation in programming, databases, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science before exploring specialised areas such as computational biology, molecular modelling, genomics, and bioinformatics. Practical labs, hackathons, and industry-oriented projects help students apply their learning and build industry-ready skills.

If a student exits after completing 3 years, the degree awarded will be BA only.
