Hospitality & Hotel Management

The School of Hospitality and Hotel Management was established at Shoolini University in 2017 as a Centre of Excellence for students who aspire to build a career in the Hospitality Industry. The three-year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course has been designed to provide undergraduate students a sound hospitality education, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive and secure gainful employment within the industry.

The curriculum and syllabus have been benchmarked against various national and international hospitality institutions, resulting in robust and contemporary training program. Shoolini Chalet

The Shoolini Chalet is a live lab for students of hospitality. Students are the stakeholders here. They run this small hotel of four rooms and two suites where university guests stay. This exposes students to front office operations, housekeeping, communication and more.

Kitchen

The Chalet also has a self-sufficient kitchen where students learn food production, service, essential accounting tools, etc. Lunch is served to those who have reservations. Several university dinners are also hosted here, where students learn the catering process from the word go!

With its strong industry connections, students of the school get internships and successful placements with leading industry brands. The training is not limited to the hotel industry but extends to many customer-centric streams. 

Vishal Anand

Founder and Pro-Chancellor of Shoolini University, he is also a recognised name in hospitality with his affiliation with The Olive Restaurants and Marriott Hotels. He is known for setting up the first multiplex in Himachal Pradesh as well as bringing many retail brands to the state.
