MSc Biotechnology (1 Year) at Shoolini University covers biology, chemistry, and engineering — with focus areas in Genetics, Microbiology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Process Design, and Genetic Engineering. 

Students learn from faculty trained at institutions including the National Cancer Institute USA, NIH, IISc, and Oxford. The program includes a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Biotechnology and a Research Centre in OMICS and Biodiversity Research, giving students access to specialist infrastructure throughout their degree.

  • PO-1:In depth Domain knowledge Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core information associated with the profession of biotechnology, including basic know how of cell and its functioning, Molecular aspects of life forms, microbial and advanced model systems, immunology, bioinformatics and genetic engineering along with ecology, social, and administrative positions in associations related to the domain. Understand how knowledge is created, advanced, renewed and apply in national and global context. 
  • PO-2:Critical Thinking and analytical Abilities Utilize the principles of scientific inquiry, thinking analytically, clearly and critically, while solving problems and making decisions during daily practice. Find, analyze, evaluate and apply information systematically and shall make defensible decisions.  
  • PO-3:Planning Abilities Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines. Ability to use time more effectively by planning work and activities well. 
  • PO-4:Leadership skills Understand and consider the human reaction to change, motivation issues, leadership and team building when planning changes required for fulfilment of practice, professional and societal responsibilities. Assume participatory roles as responsible citizens or leadership roles, whenever appropriate, to facilitate improvement in health and well-being.
