Shoolini University is the first private university to start a holistic BSc degree in Yoga Sciences in Himachal Pradesh. This degree explores the origins and historical development of yoga and meditation in India, from ancient times to the modern world. Imparting transformational learning, the program provides theoretical knowledge as well as hands-on training.
Considered as the birthplace of Indian culture including yoga, the Himalayas with cool summers and pleasant sunny winters are the ideal destination for pursuing yogic practices and scientific research.
In 2018, Shoolini University hosted a three-week camp for future Chinese yoga trainers. This was a yoga and meditation program meant to impart training to the Chinese delegation from Yunnan Minzu University, Kunming and the Beijing Normal University.
