Education for SDGs in the wider community
In 2022, Shoolini University continued its commitment to education for sustainable development in the wider community through dedicated outreach educational activities.
Alumni Engagement: We recognize the invaluable contributions of our esteemed alumni in diverse fields and industries. To harness this collective expertise, we have initiated a series of webinars, workshops, and networking events focused on SDGs. Through these interactions, our alumni serve as mentors, thought leaders, and catalysts for change, inspiring current students and fellow graduates to play an active role in sustainable development.

Shoolini University's Program has successfully carried out a variety of empowering activities for the local community. Through collaborations with organizations such as YouWeCan, Healing Himalayas, the Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy, and others, we have made a positive impact on various aspects of society. From cancer awareness talks and visits to healthcare centers to cleaning drives, picnics, and cultural celebrations, we have actively engaged with the community to promote education, health, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion. These initiatives have not only empowered individuals but have also fostered a sense of unity, compassion, and collective responsibility
Education for the Underprivileged
Shoolini University is committed to bridging educational gaps and ensuring access to quality education for all individuals. We recognize that education plays a vital role in empowering individuals, breaking the cycle of poverty, and fostering sustainable development. The university has undertaken several initiatives to provide education for the underprivileged.
a) Scholarship Programs and Financial Aid:

We have implemented robust scholarship programs and financial aid initiatives targeted specifically at underprivileged students.
b) Community Learning Initiatives: Shoolini University is committed to spreading knowledge beyond our campus boundaries, ensuring that education reaches every corner of the community. Students and faculty of Shoolini University regularly organize learning sessions for students in the neighbouring rural area. In line with our commitment to the local community, Shoolini University has opened the Yogananda Knowledge Center to students from nearby schools and the local community. This center serves as a dedicated space for learning, exploration, and personal growth.
Parivartan" Educational Initiative:
Shoolini University has initiated the "Parivartan" educational initiative, led by students, to provide education to children of daily wage employees, ensuring that underprivileged children have access to quality education. This initiative contributes to the education and empowerment of underprivileged children, fostering inclusivity and promoting social responsibility and empathy among Shoolini University students.
Infrastructure Support: Shoolini University has taken a significant step towards promoting literacy and education by establishing a library in a neighbouring school. This library stands as an invaluable resource for children in the area who may not have had access to a wide range of books before. Shoolini University has also collaborated with the "Mahadevi Charitable Trust" to organize online sessions for underprivileged children and conducts book donation drives to establish libraries for them.
2021
Under the banner of Program “Jagriti” we offer dedicated outreach educational activities for wider community including our alumni, local residents and displaced people. As part of our association with YuWeCan we regularly organise various activities related to cancer awareness for local residents and displaced people. We also organise various activities in and outside campus for gender sensitization and equality. During the covid times in 2021 we have also organised various educational and outreach activities on issues related to physical and mental health. We have also adopted primary health centres nearby and helped them to be fully equipped with oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators to fight the Covid-19 outbreak in the community. We also contribute to the wellbeing of senior citizens and under privileged section of the society by programmes like celebrating grandparent’s day, Dhan Utsav and fund raiser for various societal activities. Some of the dedicated outreach educational activities for the wider community organised during 2021 under the banner of Program "Jagriti" are mentioned below. Ideas That Matter is a collaborative platform by Shoolini University that connects forward-thinking schools, academia, students, scientists, industry leaders, public figures, cultural icons, and all with the spirit of innovation. To enable out-of-the-box thinking, we organize programs, webinars, masterclasses, and other creative adventures to stimulate their minds. We want to light the way to a better future! We want to create an environment where ideas travel and creativity blossoms. Through our initiatives, we want to equip and energize the education fraternity.
