Abdulahi Mahammed Adem
Teaching Associate
Abdulahi Mahammed Adem is a Teaching Associate at Yogananda School of AI, Computer and Data Science. He holds a PhD in Computer Science Engineering from the same institution. Prior to this, he completed his Masters degree in Computer Science from Andhra University (College of Engineering), and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Mekelle University, Ethiopia.
Adem’s research interests span artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, ensemble learning, self-supervised learning, and AI-driven healthcare analytics. His work focuses on developing intelligent and scalable models for medical image analysis, disease detection, and secure distributed learning systems. He has contributed to high-impact interdisciplinary research in computer science and has published in reputed peer-reviewed journals, international conferences, and edited volumes.
With more than 14 years of academic experience, Adem has served in multiple teaching and research roles across India and Ethiopia. He previously held positions as Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Samara University, Ethiopia, where he taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervised final-year and graduate research projects, and contributed to curriculum development and academic governance.
Adem has delivered a wide range of courses, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Multivariate Data Analysis, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Software Engineering, Information Security and Privacy, Cyber Security, Computer Networking, Programming (Python, Java, C, C++, C#), Web Technologies, and Final Year Project Supervision.
He is a Certified Professional Higher Education Teacher (2017) and possesses strong technical expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn), statistical modelling, data analytics, database systems, programming, and full-stack web technologies. His professional strengths include research design, academic writing, graduate supervision, curriculum development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and scholarly communication.
Beyond academics, Adem actively contributes to collaborative research initiatives and interdisciplinary projects focused on advancing AI applications in healthcare, intelligent systems, and secure computing environments.
