Sonu Badgujar

Sonu Badgujar is an Assistant Professor at the Yogananda School of AI, Computer, and Data Science. He holds an M Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from NC College of Engineering, Israna, Panipat, Haryana.

His research focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning techniques to solve real-world problems in finance and data analytics. His M Tech research explored intelligent stock market forecasting using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks and involved a comparative evaluation of traditional statistical models and modern machine learning approaches, including ARIMA, Random Forest, Support Vector Machines (SVM), XGBoost, and Hybrid LSTM architectures.

Asst. Prof. Badgujar is a qualified UGC-NET (Computer Science and Applications) candidate, having cleared the examination in June 2025 and December 2025. He also qualified GATE in 2024. He has further enhanced his professional expertise through industry-oriented certifications and training programs. He completed the C-DAC Virtual Internship on Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing under the Cyber Gyan Project, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

He has also participated in cybersecurity awareness and defence training under the ISEA initiative, earned the Lean Six Sigma AI Yellow Belt certification, completed training in AI Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, and undertaken Git Training. These programs have further strengthened his skills in data analytics, business intelligence, cybersecurity, and modern software development practices.
