Kanika Thakur is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. She holds a PhD from CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, awarded by Panjab University, Chandigarh, an M Tech in Biotechnology, and a B Tech in Bioinformatics from JUIT, Solan.
Her research focuses on unravelling the complexities of fungal plant-microbe interactions, a critical area in agricultural sciences. She is also investigating the Ginger Fusarium Pathosystem to understand pathogenic mechanisms and host-pathogen dynamics.
Asst Prof Kanika Thakur has published high-quality research articles and book chapters in esteemed SCI and Scopus journals, and her achievements include a granted PCT patent.
With over seven years of experience in post-PhD research and academia, including roles at esteemed central government research institutes like CSIR-IHBT and CIAB, Kanika Thakur brings expertise in molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, and metagenomics.
