Assistant Professor

Ritika Rana is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. Her research focuses on the development and analysis of Structured Lipids and their potential therapeutic applications in managing and treating various human diseases. This work reflects her interest in the biochemical aspects of microbiology and supports her broader goal of contributing to better human health and disease prevention. 

Ritika’s academic journey in microbiology began with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology from Himachal Pradesh University (HPU). Her curiosity about the microbial world and its impact on both ecosystems and human health led her to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Microbiology. During her postgraduate studies, she gained deeper knowledge of microbial physiology, molecular biology, and pathogenesis. 

Now at Shoolini, Ritika is involved in cutting-edge research that combines microbiology, biochemistry, and health sciences. Her work on structured lipids is multidisciplinary, aiming to discover new lipid structures with potential benefits in metabolic and chronic diseases. 

Apart from her academic and research pursuits, Ritika also has a love for the arts. She enjoys singing and dancing, which helps her maintain a creative and balanced lifestyle alongside her scientific work.
