A new group of Campus Ambassadors took an oath to represent Shoolini University and its student community during a day-long induction programme featuring formal sessions, student interactions and cultural performances.
Founder-Chancellor Prof PK Khosla attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Himachal-based comedian and social media influencer Aayush Thakur and content creator Chetan Monga were the Guests of Honour.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a presentation titled ‘Before the Story Begins: The Journey of the Campus Ambassador Programme’, which traced the evolution of the initiative.
Shoolini University Vice President Avnee Khosla, founder of the Campus Ambassador Programme, welcomed the students and administered the oath. The programme leadership and department heads presented badges to the newly inducted ambassadors, formally marking the beginning of their roles.
Aayush Thakur led an open interaction, responding to students’ questions and sharing experiences from his work. Chetan Monga also spoke to the students about his experiences as a content creator.
Dr Geetansh Sharma conducted a session titled ‘Beyond the Badge: The Campus Ambassador Journey’, outlining the responsibilities associated with the role and the importance of representing the university with commitment and professionalism. The programme also featured ‘Melodies and Moments’, which included cultural performances by students, followed by the distribution of prizes and certificates.
Prof Khosla interacted with the newly inducted ambassadors and unveiled the programme’s logo. It is headed by Dr Rajesh Dorbala and Dr Geetansh Sharma, with Aryan Sharma, Gauri Tandon, Jahanvi Dhar, Nischay Tomar and Vanshika Mittal serving as council heads. Dr Dorbala delivered the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the formal ceremony.
The day concluded at Yogananda Library with a special session titled ‘In Conversation with Chetan Monga’, moderated by Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla. Students spoke with Monga about social media, creativity and communication in an informal setting.
