
Geetansh Sharma
Assistant Professor
Geetansh Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the School of Bioengineering and Food Technology. A dedicated academic and researcher in Environmental Microbiology, he specialises in wastewater bioremediation. He recently completed his PhD in Microbiology, focusing on sustainable microbial solutions for wastewater treatment and environmental restoration. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Microbiology from Shoolini University.
With over two years of teaching experience, Asst Prof Sharma has guided undergraduate and postgraduate students in microbiology and allied life sciences. His teaching philosophy focuses on conceptual clarity, practical application, and research-driven learning, helping students connect microbiological principles with real-world environmental challenges.
His research interests span environmental microbiology, bioremediation, microbial ecology, wastewater treatment technologies, and functional foods in health sciences. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, participated in national and international conferences, and actively engages in mentoring students in both research and professional development.
Beyond academics and research, Asst Prof Sharma is committed to inspiring students by promoting scientific curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of environmental responsibility among young learners.
