Solan, September 13

In a move that promises to reshape the academic landscape, Shoolini University has partnered with the University of Salford, UK, for a 2+2-degree program. As per the agreement, students can seamlessly transition to a bachelor’s degree from the University of Salford, enriching their educational journey with international exposure.

Director of International Affairs at Shoolini University Prof RP Dwivedi expressed that this alliance “opens new vistas for students to gain a world-class education and prepares them to excel in the global marketplace”.

Revolutionising higher education

The 2+2-degree program is designed to transform the student experience in higher education. Participants have the opportunity to spend their first two years at Shoolini University in India, gaining a robust foundation in their chosen discipline. Upon completing this phase and meeting transfer requirements, students can continue their academic journey at the University of Salford in the UK for the final two years of their degree.

This arrangement ensures a smooth academic transition, eliminating any loss of time or uncredited coursework. Moreover, the program enriches students’ learning by allowing them to immerse themselves in different cultures, interact with a diverse set of professors and students, and develop a truly global mindset.

Dual university power

Shoolini University and the University of Salford bring distinctive educational, curricular, and research strengths to this partnership, thereby amplifying the quality of the academic experience. Students are primed not only for academic achievement but also for a successful future in a global job market.

2-year work visa in the UK

Graduates of this program will receive their undergraduate degree from a foreign university, thereby significantly boosting their employability. Additionally, students at the University of Salford can work part-time during their studies, offering them a chance to gain real-world experience.

After earning their degree, graduates become eligible for a minimum of a 2-year work visa in the UK, expanding their career opportunities. The program also offers students the opportunity to secure Permanent Residency (PR) during their work visa phase.

The 2+2-degree program stands as a testament to the commitment of both universities to provide innovative, high-quality education that is attuned to the needs of today’s globalised world.
