Assistant Professor

Parteek Mandyal is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. He did his PhD and masters degree in Organic Chemistry from Shoolini University.  His doctoral research focused on the development of metal oxide–based heterojunctions for photocatalytic water decontamination and photoreduction of nitrobenzene. 

Asst Prof Mandyal’s research interests include materials chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, photocatalysis, heterojunction engineering, carbon-based nanomaterials, water purification, photodegradation of pollutants, and hydrogen generation. 

His work primarily focuses on designing advanced nanostructured and heterostructured photocatalytic systems for the efficient removal of emerging contaminants such as antibiotics and organic pollutants from water, contributing to sustainable environmental remediation technologies.

In addition to his research activities, he is committed to academic collaboration, research training, and knowledge dissemination. He actively engages with students and researchers to promote scientific learning and innovation in chemistry and materials science. His work reflects a strong dedication to advancing sustainable chemical technologies and addressing environmental challenges through innovative materials and catalytic processes.
