Job Role:
Designation: Patent Associate/Patent Agent
Education and Experience: Professionals with MTech/B.Tech/M.Sc. with 3 to 4years of relevant/ industry experience.
Registered Patent Agent.
Location: Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India
Job profile:
- Filing and Prosecuting Patent Application.
- Drafting Patent Specifications.
- Answering queries from IP India Office on various aspects of Indian Patent law and practice.
- Preparing and Filing Response in the Patent Office.
- Attending Hearing at the Patent Office. Drafting and Filing Pre and Post Grant Oppositions.
- Drafting of Review Petitions.
- Drafting Appeal for Intellectual Property Appellate Board.
- Filing and Prosecuting Design Applications.
- File Management, Email monitoring, Prior art searches, Patent watch PCT Filing.
Skill Set Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication (in English) with ability in creative and persuasive writing.
- Prior experience of drafting patent applications and/or office action responses.
- Excellent knowledge of IP laws of various countries, various patent databases, technical
- domains with respect to educational background.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Any certifications of additional courses or training's (in Intellectual Property or otherwise) would be a plus.
