Shoolini University has cemented its position as a leading centre of higher education, being ranked the No. 1 Private University in India for the second consecutive year in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2025. Climbing steadily in the global academic landscape, the university now stands at 146th in Asia and 5th Overall in India, competing with the best institutions across the continent.
The Times Higher Education Asia Rankings evaluated 853 universities from 35 countries and territories, assessing their performance across 18 indicators. These indicators span five key areas — teaching, research environment, research quality, international outlook, and industry engagement — and are regarded as one of the most trusted benchmarks by students, academic leaders, and policymakers worldwide.
In addition to its overall standing, Shoolini has made a mark in several core areas:
- 2nd in India and 77th in Asia for International Outlook
- 4th in India and 77th in Asia for Research Quality
- 14th in India and 233rd in Asia for Research Environment
- 49th in India and 263rd in Asia for Teaching
- 67th in India and 617th in Asia for Industry Engagement
This is also the third consecutive year that Shoolini has featured among the Top 200 universities in Asia, reflecting the university’s consistent academic rigour and growing global reputation.
