Solan, August 23

Solan-based Shoolini University has been certified as a Great Place to Work by the prestigious Great Place to Work organisation. Shoolini University, which has made huge strides since its inception in 2009, has secured this place for the second time in a row. There are only two universities from India on the list released by this global organisation recently.

The selection is made after a rigorous and confidential survey undertaken by the organisation through an elaborate questionnaire to the staff members of the organisation concerned. Chancellor Prof PK Khosla said it was an honour to get the certificate. “It is always an honour to learn that your staff is satisfied with the policies you have developed for them and that they like their work,” he added.

Pro Chancellor Vishal Anand said, “I am pleased to know that the university is ranked as the top great place to work. In the future as well, we will provide a work-friendly environment to the university employees,” he said. Talking about this great achievement, Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla said, “I am delighted and excited. This is a huge achievement and demonstrates our commitment towards the university and our people.”

The certification is awarded after a comprehensive, independent and highly confidential survey conducted by the organisation, Great Place to Work, which is not accessible to anyone connected with the institution or corporate concerned. The survey includes questions on the way the organisation treats its employees, opportunities for professional growth, encouragement and compensation for good work, credibility, HR policies and monetary compensation.
