QS Subject Rankings
Agriculture leads the rankings, with strong performance across environmental sciences, pharmacy, and core disciplines

Shoolini University entered the global Top 500 in seven subjects in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, marking one of its strongest performances across disciplines. In total, eight subject areas from the university featured in this year’s rankings.

Agriculture and Forestry led the results, placed in the 251–300 band globally and ranked 6th in India. Environmental Sciences followed in the 301–350 band globally, at 11th in India. Pharmacy and Pharmacology was ranked in the 351–400 band, securing the 15th position nationally.

Materials Science, Engineering and Technology, Chemistry, and Biological Sciences were all placed in the 401–450 band globally. In India, Materials Science was ranked 16th, Engineering and Technology and Chemistry were both at 17th, while Biological Sciences stood at 10th.

Natural Sciences was placed in the 501–550 band globally, with a 17th rank in India, taking the university’s overall subject presence to eight areas in the rankings.

The results reflect consistent performance across core disciplines, backed by research output, academic depth, and international collaborations.

Founder-Chancellor Prof PK Khosla said the rankings showed that Indian universities can compete globally with a clear academic direction and sustained focus on research. He added that the achievement reflected the hard work of the entire university community.

Pro Chancellor Vishal Anand said these rankings will further motivate the university to strengthen its academic ecosystem, industry partnerships, and global outreach. He emphasised the institution’s continued commitment to providing transformative education and promoting innovation among students.

Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla said the QS rankings reflected the university’s sustained work in research and innovation, led by its faculty and students. He added that it reinforces its focus on creating knowledge with global relevance.
