Prof PK Khosla honoured with the Shiv Ram Kashyap Oration Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Shoolini University Founder and Chancellor Prof PK Khosla was honoured with the Shiv Ram Kashyap Oration Award for Lifetime Achievement by the Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The award was founded in the name of Prof Shiv Ram Kashyap, the First Professor of Botany at the Honours School of Botany, Panjab University.
Department of Botany chairperson Prof Promila Pathak welcomed the delegates at the Shiv Ram Kashyap Oration Award function, where Dean University Instructions Prof Renu Vig was the chief guest. She appreciated the department’s efforts in conducting such programmes.
The awardees for the 7th, 8th and 9th Shiv Ram Kashyap Oration Awards were conferred with a citation and tokens of appreciation. They are, Prof SC Verma, Prof AN Purohit, Former Vice Chancellor, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand and Prof PK Khosla, Chancellor, Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences.
Prof AN Purohit delivered a lecture on 'Changing Climate, Climatism and CO2'.
In an overview, Prof PK Khosla illustrated the amalgamation of sustainability with plant science in Himalayan life. He underlined the significance of forests as one of the key prerequisites for a secure future. Prof Khosla encouraged students to work with zeal to produce quality work and contribute to publications in international forums.
