
Shoolini welcomes 33 principals from leading institutions across India for event
Shoolini University recently hosted a two-day Principals' Conclave-2024, bringing together educational leaders across India. The event welcomed 33 distinguished principals from leading institutions across Jammu & Kashmir and Pathankot.
The conclave provided collaborative discourse and knowledge exchange among educational stalwarts. Shoolini University Founder and Chancellor Prof PK Khosla highlighted the university's dedication to promoting innovation and research in education, positioning it as a frontrunner in the academic landscape.
The participants included ASN Hr Sec School (Channi Himmat) Director Ritesh Kapoor, APS Jammu Cantt Vice Principal Manmet Kour, and Jodhamal Public School (Jammu) Principal Girish Kumar.
At the inaugural event, Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla commended the principals for actively adopting the University's pioneering research-oriented educational models. He emphasised Shoolini's trailblazing efforts, including partnerships with industry leaders and international universities, cutting-edge academic programs, and a shift towards advanced teaching methods.
At the conclave, Chancellor Prof PK Khosla shared insights from his career, focusing on his work in plant biodiversity and the chromosomal polymorphism of Himalayan trees. His significant contributions in these areas earned him a PhD from Panjab University and then post-doctoral research at Oxford University. Founder President and Trustee, Foundation for Liberal Sciences and Business Management (FLSBM), Saroj Khosla, also spoke on the occasion. Recognised for her education leadership, she praised the principals for their engagement and pivotal roles in successfully implementing the certification program.
Shoolini University Vice President Avnee Khosla welcomed the principals at the conclave. The purpose of the two-day certification program, she said, was to enhance interactive learning experiences. "Established in 2009, Shoolini University has swiftly gained recognition for its research, student output, and innovation. Our UGC recognition and NAAC accreditation validate our commitment to academic excellence. These achievements reflect the expertise of our faculty, innovative teaching techniques, and the vast expanse of our campus," she said.
Regarding the quality of research, Avnee Khosla recalled, "With investments exceeding Rs 250 crore in research and innovation, coupled with a remarkable patent output, our university stands out among India's top technical and science institutions."
The program featured a campus tour, a visit to the RC Oswal Nanotechnology lab, Food Testing Lab, Patent Wall, Multi-Floor Library with European design, Shoolini Temple, and a tree plantation led by the participants. The conclave concluded with a gala dinner and presentation of certificates to all principals, followed by a vote of thanks by Director Outreach Shikha Sood.
The Principals' Conclave-2024 at Shoolini University encouraged collaboration and knowledge sharing, strengthening the institution's commitment to innovative educational methods and cultivating an atmosphere of academic innovation.
