Shoolini University is back with the Summer Patent School 2025, an immersive research experience that empowers young minds to turn their ideas into reality. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayan Pine Forest, this exclusive summer program is designed for aspiring innovators, bold leaders, and fearless researchers eager to make a mark in intellectual property.
Launched in 2021, the Summer Patent School has consistently provided a one-of-a-kind platform for school students across India to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and patent-filing skills. Through expert mentorship, interactive sessions, and hands-on training, students explore the exciting world of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights (IPRs)—irrespective of their field of interest… be it commerce, technology, or biotechnology.
This year, the program will be held in two cohorts:
Cohort 1: June 16 to 20
Cohort 2: June 23 to 27
During the Summer Patent School 2025, students will dive deep into the art and science of innovation, research, and creativity, gaining hands-on experience in patent filing, intellectual property laws, and design thinking. They will be mentored by top scientists, reputed patent holders, and global intellectual property experts, equipping them with real-world problem-solving skills.
Students with unique ideas get expert guidance to refine and patent their innovations, giving them a competitive edge in academics and beyond. The program also offers global exposure, including earning recommendation letters from leading scientists. Sessions on AI, industrial design, research methodologies, and creativity-driven innovation create a dynamic learning experience at the scenic campus of Shoolini University. Students return home with a Patent Achiever Certification, validating their expertise in intellectual property and innovation.

The Summer Patent School has hosted students from 20 states and five Union Territories, engaging over 200 young minds since its inception. The program has led to the filing of 55+ Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), proving its success in nurturing student innovation and problem-solving.
