About the Author: Starting his illustrious career in 1968 as a Botany teacher at Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof Prem Kumar Khosla’s professional voyage saw him contributing significantly to academia, particularly in Himachal Pradesh. His roles have been varied and impactful, from teaching at Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, to leading as the Vice Chancellor of the Agricultural University in Palampur. His advisory role for Biotechnology by the Government of Himachal Pradesh further highlights his commitment to scientific advancement. After retiring, his entrepreneurial drive led to the creation of the Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management, which evolved into Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences.
