Campus tours, global opportunities, Zumba, DJ Night, and the Buddy Program set the stage for an exciting start
The campus of Shoolini University is all set to come alive from August 19 to 23 as it prepares to host its much-awaited induction program for the incoming batch of Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The five-day event will mark the beginning of an exciting academic journey, designed to help new students feel at home while introducing them to the vibrant academic, cultural, and social life at Shoolini.
The induction will feature a Campus Tour, giving students a glimpse of the world-class infrastructure and lush surroundings that define the Shoolini experience. Sessions like Learning at Shoolini, Exam Essentials, and Beyond Academics: Campus Life, Support & Care by the Dean of Student Welfare will familiarise students with academic systems, support services, and opportunities for personal growth.
The program will also feature impactful and interactive activities, such as a Street Play on important social themes, a FUN Quiz to test their knowledge about the campus, and a session on global opportunities by the Office of International Affairs. Students will also gain insights into career opportunities at Shoolini, the university’s thriving start-up ecosystem, and various clubs through the lively Club Mela.
To help newcomers settle in, Shoolini’s Buddy Program will pair each new student with a senior ‘buddy’ who will guide them through their initial days on campus, offering advice, support, and a friendly face to turn to.
To ensure the perfect balance of learning and fun, the schedule includes energetic sessions like Zumba @ Basketball Court, the much-anticipated DJ Night, and a Meet & Greet at the Open Air Theatre, creating plenty of opportunities for bonding and making new friends. The FUN n FOOD segment promises a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere where students can unwind and enjoy the flavours of campus life.
“The induction is more than just an orientation — it’s our way of making every student feel they belong here from day one. With activities that blend learning, wellness, and fun, and the support of our Buddy Program, we aim to ensure that no student ever feels alone,” said Poonam Nanda, Dean of Sustainability and Induction In-Charge at Shoolini University.
By the close of the five days, the newest members of the Shoolini family will have found friends, mentors, and a sense of belonging. They will walk away with the confidence to explore, the curiosity to learn, and the connections to thrive. The induction is not just the start of their university journey; it is the spark that will guide them through the years ahead.
