Assistant Professor
Vinita Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Economics, at Shoolini Business School, Shoolini University. She brings valuable experience from her diverse professional journey spanning academia, human resources, and administration. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to integrate practical insights with economic theory, creating an engaging and application-oriented learning environment. At Shoolini, she teaches a wide range of economics courses including Microeconomics, Indian Economy, Econometrics, and Development Economics, encouraging students to connect conceptual understanding with real-world challenges.
She qualified the UGC-NET in Economics in 2023. Her research explores themes of sustainable development, regional economic growth, and tourism diversification, reflecting a strong interest in understanding how local economies adapt to changing developmental dynamics.
An alumna of Shoolini University, Vinita completed her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2020, followed by a Master’s degree in Economics from Himachal Pradesh University in 2022.
Guided by a learner-centred teaching philosophy, Vinita aims to nurture critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and global awareness among her students. Beyond academics, she is an avid reader with a deep appreciation for both fiction and academic literature—believing that reading cultivates empathy, reflection, and intellectual depth that enrich both teaching and research.
