Shekhar Kumar

Shekhar Kumar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shoolini University. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacognosy from the Central University of Punjab and a Bachelor’s degree from Gopal Narayan Singh University.

During his Master’s, he worked on Extraction, Isolation, and in-silico evaluation of Artocarpus heterophyllus wood extract. Currently, Shekhar Kumar is engaged in exploring the unexplored plants for their ethanomedicinal uses, Phytochemistry, along with their therapeutic  potential.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is actively involved in preparing future professionals for the pharmaceutical sector. He regularly participates in conferences, symposiums, and workshops related to pharmaceutical sciences and natural products, ensuring constant professional development and the integration of emerging scientific advancements into his teaching and research work.
