Prakrati Garg
Assistant Professor
Prakrati Garg is an Assistant Professor at the School of Biotechnology specialising in nanotechnology‑based drug delivery, herbal medicine formulations, and natural product therapeutics. She completed her PhD in Biotechnology from Shoolini University. Her doctoral research focused on nanocarrier‑based approaches for the topical delivery of Moringa oleifera for dermatological disorders.
Her work involves the development, optimisation, and evaluation of nanoformulations such as microemulsions, ethosomes, and hydrogel systems to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of phytoconstituents. Her research integrates phytochemistry, nanotechnology, and preclinical evaluation to develop effective formulations for wound healing and inflammatory skin disorders.
Her research interests include herbal extraction, phytochemistry, nanotechnology‑based drug delivery systems, cosmeceuticals, dermatological therapeutics, and preclinical pharmacological evaluation.
