Post Doc Fellow

Kamel Haydar is an international post doctorate researcher in the School of Biotechnology. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Shoolini University and has over four years of teaching experience. 

He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tishreen University, Syria, and earned his Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat. During his Ph.D., he received the Best Student Certificate. 

His academic and research experience lies in Biotechnology and Microbiology with strong engagement in multidisciplinary research domains. His primary research interest focuses on therapeutic potential of monofloralhoney, particularly its effects on probiotic modulation and antihypertensive activity, with special emphasis on the renin–angiotensin system (RAS). 

He has also contributed to interdisciplinary research, notably in the development of self-healing concrete using Bacillus subtilis bacteria, integrating microbiology with civil engineering applications. 

In addition to his research activities, Kamel is actively involved in teaching and student engagement. 

Beyond his professional responsibilities, he has a strong interest in physical fitness, strength training, and table tennis, and secured third place in a bench press tournament in Rajkot, Gujarat, reflecting his commitment to discipline, resilience, and overall well-being.
