Shoolini University has inaugurated upgraded media studios, smart classrooms and collaborative learning spaces at F Block for students of the School of Media and Communications and School of Liberal Arts.
Founder-Chancellor Prof PK Khosla and Pro Chancellor Prof Vishal Anand inaugurated the facilities. Prof Nishtha Shukla Anand, Trustee, President and Dean of the Faculty of Media and Liberal Arts, joined them and outlined plans for the School of Liberal Arts.
“We are committed to developing the School of Liberal Arts into one of the leading institutions of its kind in the country. Our focus is on providing students with a holistic learning experience that combines academic excellence with practical exposure, critical thinking and creativity,” she said.
The faculty has moved from G and H Blocks to the refurbished F Block, bringing its classrooms, studios, and shared learning spaces together. The upgraded television studio has dedicated anchor seating, soundproofing and a set for Shoolini Spotlight, the university’s weekly podcast featuring guests from different fields. Media students handle all filming, editing and publishing under the guidance of Dr Paarth Sharma.

In the new radio studio, students can turn a script into a recording and edit the audio themselves. Dr Indu Negi of the School of Media and Communications manages the studio.
Touchscreen smart boards support interactive teaching in the classrooms. Students can browse books in the mini library or gather in the collaborative area to discuss ideas and work on projects.
Prof Vishal Anand said, “Our vision is to develop the School of Liberal Arts into a centre of excellence and establish it as the fourth pillar of the university. With a growing number of students choosing Liberal Arts programmes, we are strengthening our academic foundation by bringing together experienced faculty and creating an environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity and interdisciplinary learning.”
Prof PK Khosla congratulated the faculty on the new facilities and encouraged teachers to focus more on research.
