Vandana Guleria

Assistant Professor

Vandana Guleria is an Assistant Professor in the faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology at the School of Bio-Engineering and Food Technology, Shoolini University. She earned her PhD and M Phil in Biotechnology from Shoolini University. Additionally, Asst Prof Vandana Guleria holds a master’s in bioinformatics from Panjab University and a bachelor’s in bioinformatics from Dolphin College of Life Sciences, Patiala University. 

Her research focuses on computational biology, particularly analysing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data using RNA sequencing pipelines. Her noteworthy track record includes publishing high-quality research articles and contributing chapters to reputable journals and books indexed in SCI and Scopus. Asst Prof Vandana Guleria has also shared her expertise through presentations at various national and international conferences. With two years of professional experience in her field, she brings valuable insights to her research and teaching endeavours.  

Asst Prof Vandana Guleria teaches various subjects such as applications to Bioinformatics, data structure and algorithm, computational biology, and Food biotechnology. She is the course coordinator for the department, overseeing various aspects of course management.  

Her passion for teaching and learning is evident in her approach to education. Asst Prof Vandana Guleria excels at creating a fun and engaging learning environment that sparks excitement among her students.
