Shabnam Sambyal is an Assistant Professor at the School of Advanced Chemical Sciences. She holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry from Shoolini University. She completed her Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, developing a solid foundation in synthetic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and advanced analytical techniques.

Her research interests lie in the fields of materials chemistry, photocatalysis, nanostructured materials, environmental catalysis, and sustainable green technologies. Her work primarily focuses on the design and development of advanced photocatalytic materials for the degradation of emerging pollutants such as antibiotics and organic contaminants in water systems, contributing to sustainable environmental solutions.

She has actively contributed to the scientific community through research publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in national and international conferences. 

In addition to her research activities, also committed to academic collaboration, research training, and knowledge dissemination, engaging with students and researchers to promote scientific learning and innovation in chemistry and materials science.

Her work reflects a strong dedication to advancing sustainable chemical technologies and addressing environmental challenges through innovative materials and catalytic processes.
