
Rama Mishra
Assistant Professor
Rama Mishra is an Assistant Professor in Yoga Therapy at the Yogananda School of Spirituality and Happiness, Shoolini University. She holds two postgraduate degrees — an MSc in Yoga Therapy from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthan (SVYASA), Bengaluru, and an MSc in Counselling and Family Therapy from IGNOU. She completed her Bachelor's in Yoga Science from the University of Patanjali, Haridwar.
Asst Prof Mishra is UGC-NET qualified and certified by the Ministry of AYUSH’s Yoga Certification Board as a Level-3 Yoga Teacher and Evaluator, as well as a Level-2 Yoga Wellness Instructor.
She is a Life Member of the Indian Yoga Association (IYA) and currently serves as a Convener Member for its Uttar Pradesh State Chapter. Her academic work includes paper presentations at national seminars on yoga’s effects on the nervous and muscular systems, along with dissertation research on the Effect of Mind Sound Resonance Technique (MSRT) on stress, anxiety, and respiratory parameters in doctors during COVID-19.
She has actively participated in national and international yoga conferences, faculty development programs, and research-based workshops. Her contributions include serving as an examiner for the Yoga Certification Board, volunteering at national symposiums, and conducting sessions on the intersection of yoga and sustainable development. She has also received medals in academic and cultural events, reflecting her wide-ranging skills and leadership qualities.
