Ankur Bashar is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. He is an educator, international performer, thespian, director, voice coach, performance artist, poet, and playwright. He holds a Master's degree in Performance Studies from Ambedkar University and a Master’s in Acting from the prestigious National School of Drama.
Asst Prof Ankur Bashar is a Junior Research Fellow for the Ministry of Culture. His research focuses on Nada Yoga and the Roy-Hart Vocal Technique, demonstrating his commitment to deepening his understanding of vocal methodologies. His dedication to exploring and discovering vocal techniques takes him across India, enriching his practice and pedagogy. Asst Prof Ankur Bashar has worked as a visiting faculty member at Rabindranath Tagore University in Bhopal and the Shree Ram Centre for Performing Arts.
His contribution to Indian theatre has been acknowledged with a facilitation by the Chief Indian Staff S Hari Kumar. This honour reflects his significant impact on the cultural landscape of India. A recent addition to his repertoire includes psycho-physical movement and psycho-vocality, further enhancing his dynamic approach to performance and teaching.
His remarkable success in the performing arts is evident in his participation in over 1,000 shows of 40 different performances, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the craft.
