Saurabh Singh is an Associate Professor at the Yogananda School of AI, Computers and Data Science. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, along with M. Tech and B. Tech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering. With extensive experience in higher education, research, academic leadership, and technology-driven learning, he has contributed to the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Data Analytics.
His research interests primarily encompass Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Human Behaviour Analysis and Emotion Recognition. His research explores the analysis of human emotions through non-facial behavioural cues, particularly bodily movements, with potential applications in intelligent security systems, behavioural analysis and lie detection. His recent research also extends to deep learning, speech emotion recognition, natural language processing, and AI-based approaches for addressing complex social and societal challenges.
Assoc Prof Singh has published and presented research in reputed journals, conferences and digital libraries, including Scopus-indexed and IEEE-listed research platforms. His scholarly contributions cover areas such as emotion recognition using body language, facial micro-expression analysis, hand-motion recognition, multi-touch technologies, machine learning, artificial intelligence for domestic violence prevention and detection, sustainable digital transformation, and speech emotion recognition. His ongoing research includes the development of deep learning architectures for the automated detection and analysis of complex human behavioural patterns.
In addition to his research contributions, Assoc Prof Singh is actively engaged in academic innovation, student mentoring, curriculum development and technology-oriented initiatives. He has been associated with hackathons, workshops, entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives, industry-academia activities and professional development programmes. His academic interests also include the application of Python, SQL, Power BI, deep learning and data analytics for developing intelligent and evidence-based solutions in education and organisational decision-making.
Assoc Prof Singh has also contributed to applied research and technology development through projects involving assistive technology, surveillance systems and satellite data dissemination. His professional engagement reflects a multidisciplinary approach that integrates Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Analytics and emerging technologies to address academic as well as real-world challenges.
Through his academic, research, and innovation-driven contributions, Assoc Prof Saurabh Singh continues to advance interdisciplinary research and education in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Data Sciences, with a strong emphasis on developing technology-enabled solutions for emerging societal and industrial challenges.
