Saurabh Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biotechnology at Shoolini University. He specialises in bioinformatics, computational biology, and biological data science. He earned his PhD in Molecular Biology and Computational Biology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, with his doctoral research focusing on cardiac-specific exosomes in Angiotensin-II induced cardiac fibrosis.
Asst Prof Sharma brings over four years of diverse academic and industry experience, having served as a Scientist at BioCore Analytics, Science Writer at JoVE (Journal of Visual Experiments), and DNA Analyst at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory. He is CSIR-NET qualified and has authored 25+ research publications, including significant contributions to COVID-19 drug discovery pipelines during his postdoctoral tenure at PGIMER.
His technical expertise spans Python/R programming, machine learning frameworks, molecular dynamics simulations, and NGS pipeline development. Asst Prof Sharma's unique combination of computational skills and biological insights positions him at the forefront of modern biotechnology research and education.
