Nikhil Bhardwaj is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini Business School. He is an economist with expertise in financial markets, macroeconomic policy, volatility modelling, and sustainable development. He earned his PhD in Economics from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He is also qualified for UGC–NET (Economics) and holds a JRF and SRF. He also has a Master’s in Economics from Panjab University and a Bachelor’s degree from SD College, Chandigarh.

With over six years of teaching and research experience, Asst Prof Bhardwaj has previously served as a faculty member at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur. He has taught courses in Managerial Economics, Financial Management, International Trade, and Indian Business Environment to graduate and postgraduate students, while also guiding PhD scholars in advanced statistical techniques and financial software applications.

His research has been published in SCOPUS, Web of Science, and ABDC-indexed journals, where he employs advanced econometric methods and tools like EViews and Stata. His work explores the interlinkages between macroeconomic variables, investor sentiment, and sustainability transitions in India and Asia. He has also presented at leading national and international conferences, including the London School of Management.

Asst Prof Bhardwaj also reviews international Scopus-indexed journals and has been part of funded projects on renewable energy transitions and climate-aware financial inclusion. His research aims to provide policy-relevant insights that connect academic rigor with real-world decision-making for emerging economies.
