Janvi Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Yogananda School of AI, Computers and Data Science at Shoolini University. She holds a Master of Technology (M Tech) in Artificial Intelligence from Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Information Technology from the University Institute of Technology (UIT), Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla.
Her research expertise centres on Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a dedicated focus on low-resource and code-mixed linguistics. For her M. Tech dissertation, she developed BhashaBandhu, an agentic multi-agent Generative AI system designed to interpret, evaluate, and provide pedagogical explanations for Hindi-English (Hinglish) code-mixed communication.
Her technical background focuses on bridging foundational AI theory with practical implementations using technologies and frameworks including PyTorch, LangChain, ChromaDB, Python, and C++.
Asst. Prof. Janvi has qualified for the UGC-NET in Computer Science and Applications (2026) and holds a GATE qualification in engineering. She also contributes to the university's academic environment as a member of the Student Research Council (SRC).
Prior to her current faculty appointment, she completed a two-year Graduate Teaching Assistantship at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, where she mentored undergraduate students in core programming, data structures, and foundational AI principles.
