
Chandresh Kumari
Assistant Professor
Chandresh Kumari is an Assistant Professor at the School of Biotechnology, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Shoolini University. She holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Shoolini University and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
Her research interests include Plant Molecular Biology, Phytochemistry, and Plant Tissue Culture, with a special focus on secondary metabolite enhancement. Asst Prof Chandresh has published several research articles in Scopus- and SCIE-indexed journals and has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences.
She is a Gold Medalist in MSc Biotechnology and has received notable recognitions, including First Prize at Start-up Manthan 2017, a national-level business plan competition organised by NITTTR, Chandigarh. She was also selected among the Top 20 teams in the 8th edition of ABLE-BEST INDIA 2016, organised by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
With over 9 years of teaching and research experience, Asst Prof Chandresh has delivered talks on topics such as Genomics, DNA decoding, and the nutritional significance of Moringa oleifera. She has also conducted hands-on training sessions in molecular biology techniques and has been associated with academic initiatives of SCERT, Himachal Pradesh.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, she actively contributes to departmental activities, including workshops, training programs, and conferences.
