Yogeeta Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Law at Shoolini University. She is a dedicated legal academician with over 10 years of teaching experience and has been actively engaged in legal education, academic administration, research, student development, and various academic and co-curricular initiatives. She began her teaching career in 2016 and has since developed a diverse academic and professional profile encompassing teaching, research, institutional responsibilities, and experiential legal education.

Yogeeta completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB (Hons) from LR Group of Institutes and subsequently completed her Master of Laws (LLM) from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Her non-doctrinal (empirical) research reflects her sustained interest in access to justice, legal empowerment of marginalised and vulnerable sections of society, and the role of legal institutions in ensuring the effective realisation of constitutional and legal rights.

Alongside her academic qualifications and teaching experience, Yogeeta has demonstrated her interest and aptitude in the legal profession by clearing the Assistant District Attorney (ADA) examination and appearing for the subsequent interview. This achievement reflects her strong foundation in substantive and procedural law and her commitment to developing a comprehensive understanding of both the academic and professional dimensions of the legal field.

Her teaching interests encompass Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Company Law, Insurance Law, Taxation Law, Human Rights Law, and Legal Aid and Access to Justice.

Asst. Prof. Yogeeta has published five research papers in international journals, including publications in IJNRD, JETIR, and IJIRT. She has also participated in national seminars and completed several Faculty Development Programs. These academic engagements reflect her commitment to continuous learning, research, professional development, and contribution to the field of legal education.

She has also been actively involved in moot court activities, seminars, workshops, legal awareness programs, student presentations, academic discussions, and other co-curricular initiatives. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to teaching, research, academic leadership, experiential learning, and social justice. Through her academic work, she seeks to contribute to the development of legal education while encouraging students to approach the law with knowledge, critical thinking, ethical responsibility, and sensitivity towards society.
