Sahil Kumar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Physics and Materials Science, Shoolini University. He holds a PhD in Physics from Shoolini University, with his doctoral research focused on the ‘Synthesis of rare-earth doped Bismuth Ferrite Nanofibers for potential application in perovskite solar cells’. 

Asst Prof Kumar's research expertise includes nanomaterial synthesis using electrospinning, hydrothermal, and solid-state methods, along with materials characterisation using XRD, FTIR, UV-Vis, and SEM. He is proficient in data analysis tools such as Origin, FullProf Suite, ImageJ, and HighScore Plus. His work primarily explores the interface engineering and photovoltaic enhancement of perovskite-based solar cells using advanced nanomaterials like reduced graphene oxide (rGO).

He has published extensively in SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, contributed to multiple high-impact book chapters (including ACS publications), and filed over 10 patents, with one already granted. In addition to research, he has teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in digital electronics and instrumentation. He has also actively participated in national and international workshops, conferences, and hands-on training programs, showcasing his strong commitment to scientific dissemination and academic collaboration.
