Prikxit
Assistant Professor
Prikxit is an Assistant Professor at the MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture, Shoolini University. He is a soil science researcher with a PhD in Soil Science from CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. He completed his BSc (Hons) Forestry and MSc (Agriculture) in Soil Science from Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
His academic and research interests focus on soil-water-plant relationships, drip irrigation and fertigation, soil fertility, protected cultivation, crop productivity, water-use efficiency, and sustainable nutrient management.
Asst. Prof. Prikxit has received several academic distinctions in recognition of his academic excellence. He was awarded a Merit Scholarship during his undergraduate studies for consistent academic performance and received the prestigious Shri Puran Anand Adlakha Gold Medal from Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, for his overall academic achievement. He also received the Best MSc Thesis Award from the Society for the Advancement of Agricultural, Horticultural and Allied Science (SAAHAS), Kurukshetra, Haryana. In 2025, he qualified the ASRB-NET.
