
Krishna Kumar Gupta
Assistant Professor
Krishna Kumar Gupta is an Assistant Professor at the Yogananda School of Spirituality and Happiness. He is a UGC-NET-qualified Yoga professional with academic and professional experience in Yoga education, Yoga therapy, practical training, and Yogasana. His professional interests include the integration of traditional yogic practices with contemporary approaches to health, education and well-being.
He has qualified UGC-NET three times and holds an MSc in Yoga Science from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), New Delhi, and a BSc in Yoga Therapy from S-VYASA University, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He has also completed a 300-Hour Yoga Instructor Course (YIC) from S-VYASA University and holds YCB Level 3 certification as a Yoga Teacher and Evaluator.
His professional experience includes serving as Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) in Yoga at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Delhi. He has also worked as a Yoga Teacher at 24 Fitness Studio, Malviya Nagar, Delhi; undertaken Yoga training at Arogyadham Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka; and worked as a Yoga Expert with NCERT, Yoga Shakti.
Krishna Kumar Gupta has participated in and received recognition at national and international Yoga events. He secured first place at the Himalaya National & International Yoga Olympiad in 2019 and 2022, organised by S-VYASA University, Bengaluru. In 2023, he won the Gold Medal and secured first place at the Inter-University Yogasana Championship organised by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He has also served as a volunteer at the Himalaya National & International Yoga Olympiad at S-VYASA University, Bengaluru.
