Himanshu is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Shoolini. She is also a proud alumna, having earned both her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Pharmacy from Shoolini University.
She has over 2 years of teaching experience. Her research focuses on the Development and Optimisation of Novel Drug Delivery Systems, particularly emphasising targeted drug delivery. Her extensive work includes exploring the applications of polymersomes as carriers for drug delivery, with a focus on cancer diagnostics and therapy. Additionally, she investigates advancements in targeting brain tumours using magnetic nanoparticles. Himanshu is actively involved in cutting-edge research on the therapeutic potential of naturally occurring piceatannol in addressing non-communicable diseases. Her contributions extend to the development of rapid test kits for SARS-COV-2 immunochromatography.
Beyond teaching, Asst Prof Himanshu actively presents her research findings at national and international conferences, showcasing her commitment to advancing Pharmaceutical Research.
