Deeksha Raizada

Deeksha Raizada is an Assistant Professor in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shoolini University. She holds a postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and brings strong expertisein both classroom teaching and hands-on laboratory training. 

Her academic interests include organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and analytical approaches in drug development. She is particularly focused on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications to enhance students’ understanding of pharmaceutical sciences. 

Asst Prof Raizada’s research focuses on the synthesis of 1,5-benzodiazepines using copper oxide nanoparticles, with an emphasis on developing greener, more efficient synthetic methodologies for drug development. Her work reflects a commitment to innovation in synthetic and medicinal chemistry, aimed at improving therapeutic efficacy and pharmaceutical relevance. She is also actively involved in the study of natural products and phytochemicals, with research centred on their isolation, characterisation, and potential pharmacological applications. 

 

In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, she is actively engaged in the professional academic community. She regularly participates in conferences, symposiums, and workshops related to pharmaceutical sciences, ensuring continuous professional development and the integration of emerging scientific advancements into her teaching and research practices.
