Professor
A P Shukla is an Organisational Psychologist and management academic with more than 19 years of combined teaching, research and industry experience. At the Faculty of Management Sciences at Shoolini University, he teaches and designs curriculum at the postgraduate (MBA) level and leads initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, analytics and management education.
Prof Shukla holds a doctorate in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour, a master’s degree in Psychology, and a postgraduate management qualification from the United Kingdom. He completed his undergraduate education in engineering, which provides him with a strong quantitative foundation that he applies to data-driven management research.
His professional experience combines academic leadership with corporate experience in human resources. He has contributed to accreditation and quality assurance, outcome-based curriculum design, faculty development in generative AI and analytics, and digital brand and admissions initiatives. He has also mentored colleagues and research scholars towards publication in reputed international journals.

His research focuses on consumer behaviour and the influence of digital and social media on attention, information processing and decision-making, applications of generative AI, agentic AI and analytics in marketing and management, emotional intelligence and ethical ideology, technology adoption in emerging-economy sectors, and organizational behaviour, HRM and industrial psychology. His work also includes psychometric scale development and meta-analytic studies.
Prof Shukla has contributed chapters to edited volumes on themes including women’s empowerment and sustainable development. He also develops Ivey-format management teaching cases and has ongoing studies applying AI to consumer information processing.
He currently teaches Prompt Engineering, Information Systems Analysis & Design, Big Data Analytics and Agentic AI.
