Is practical training a part of this course?
Yes, we emphasise hands-on experience, and all students participate in practical training as well as in extension activities where they share the knowledge they gained with farmers through field visits. Shoolini University has a crop cafeteria for day-to-day field practicals, small-scale milk unit, Kalaghat Farm for research and demonstration purposes as well as instructional farms to grow seasonal crops as per the course curriculum. Our students take the lead in organising events on occasions like World Food Day, World Soil Day and Parthenium Awareness Week, Science Exhibitions, etc.
How do you expose students to industry experience?
We organise regular field visits, lectures, and interactions with experts. In their final year of the program, students are exposed to rural agricultural settings and agro-industries through course modules like Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE), Agro-Industrial Attachments (AIA) and the Experiential Learning Program (ELP).
