Sanchit Thakur

Sanchit Thakur is an Assistant Professor at the MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture, enriching the institution with his extensive academic expertise. Originally from Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, Asst Prof Thakur brings a deep-rooted understanding of agricultural practices to his role. He holds a BSc in Agriculture, as well as an MSc and PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur. His academic journey is further distinguished by the prestigious qualification of ASRB NET.

 

Asst Prof Thakur's passion for academia is evident in his specialisation in Genetics and Plant Breeding, where he imparts knowledge to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, nurturing the next generation of agricultural experts. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Asst Prof Thakur is an active researcher, contributing to numerous scientific papers, reviews, magazine articles, and conference papers.
